Girls Swimming and Diving: Stark paces Little Falls against Sauk Rapids-Rice

Senior Emily Stark (1:18.68) and freshman Abby Swanson (1:21.48) swept the top two spots in the 100-yard breaststroke to lead the Little Falls girls swimming and diving team at Sauk Rapids-Rice (SRR), Tuesday.

The Storm won the non-conference match-up 103-78.

Earning runner-up finishes for the Flyers were the 200 medley relay team of freshman Makyla Klever, senior Emily Stark, eighth-grader Christy Masog and sophomore Mati Gold (2:09.29), the 200 freestyle relay team of Klever, Stark, freshman Kristin Bobick and Gold (1:52.79), Gold in the 200 freestyle (2:20.98) and 500 freestyle (6:10.93), Klever in the 50 freestyle (27.83) and 100 freestyle (1:02.02), Masog in the 100 butterfly (1:17.26) and sophomore Savanna Slettom in the 100 backstroke (1:14.93).

Little Falls competes in the Granite Ridge Conference meet in Sartell, Saturday.
