LPGE/USA tennis team holds annual banquet

The Long Prairie-Grey Eagle/Upsala-Swanville Area (LPGE/USA) girls tennis team recently honored its players at its year-end banquet.

The Thunder earned a silver academic award as a team, with senior Abbey Schultz earning a gold individual award.

Schultz, who placed second at No. 1 doubles with senior Laura Geisenhof to earn All-Prairie Conference distinction, was also selected the team’s most valuable player by her teammates.

Sophomores Alyssa Kulla and Amanda Tschida and freshman McKenzie Barth  were first-year letter winners.
