Mary Powell, 91
Mary Powell, a resident of Little Falls, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012, at St. Gabriel’s Hospital in Little Falls.
A private funeral service will be held at a later date.
Mary was born May 29, 1921, in Long Beach, Calif., to the late Bud and Gertrude Cheatham. She was united in marriage to Albin M. Powell, June 5, 1941, in Long Beach. She moved to the Oregon coast and later relocated to Minnesota in 2005. Mary was a full-time resident at the Harmony House in Little Falls for the past seven years.
Mary is survived by daughter, LaVonne Hammond of Pierz; grandchildren, Walt (Kay) Hammond and David (Tessa) Hammond; great-grandchildren, Bethany, Ben, Jon, Payton and Ezra.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Larry Powell.
