Merle Rychner, 86

Merle Robert Rychner, went to be with his Savior  Friday, Oct. 19, 2012,  faithful servant of his Lord Jesus Christ, outdoorsman, hunter, fisherman, carpenter, brother and uncle.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Emma Rychner; brother Harvey (Ethel), Edwin (Rose) (Dorothy), sister Evelyn; and brother Phil.

He is survived by his sister Bernice (Pete) Vogelgesang; and sister-in-law Dorothy Rychner; cousins; nephews; nieces; and other friends.

Merle graduated from high school in 1944 and started farming with his mother and father in Pierz.  He logged in Sawbill Landing and made his final career as a carpenter for Mc Gough Construction.  Merle always kept busy serving at the Union Gospel Mission, Marie Sandvik Center, missions work in Ecuador and building camps for kids.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, Nov. 10,  at 11 a.m. at Hope Community Church, 2455 Long Lake Road, New Brighton, MN 55112 (651-786-2578).

Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery, Little Falls,. Memorials preferred to Union Gospel Mission, St. Paul.
