Morrison County District Court

The following person, charged with a misdemeanor level crime in Morrison County District Court, has recently been sentenced:

Gross Misdemeanors

• Michael John Petron, 26, Royalton; (offense: 9/23/12) DWI – operating a motor vehicle  – alcohol concentration of 0.08 within two hours, fined $985, sentenced to 90 days in jail and supervised probation for six years. Dismissed against Petron was one gross misdemeanor count of DWI – operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

If found guilty, Petron could face a maximum penalty of one year in jail and/or a $3,000 fine.

The court will set his appearance date.
