Arnold Nagel, 69
Memorial Services were held Friday, Nov. 9, 2012 at Fidler-Isburg Funeral Chapel in Spearfish, S.D. with Pastor Scott McKirdy officiating. Burial followed at the Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis.
Arnie was born Sept. 17, 1943, in Little Falls, the son of Arnold and LeWine (Zimmerman) Nagel, Sr. He was raised and educated in Little Falls, graduating in 1961. He served in the United States Navy for six years during the Cuban Missile Crisis at Guatonomo Bay, Cuba. He moved to Wyoming in 1973, where he was employed with Kerr-McGee and later with Pacific Power and Light. Arnie was united in marriage with Linda Peery Dec. 24, 1986 in Gillette, Wyo.
Arnold is survived by his wife Linda of Sundance; two daughters; Jennifer Nagel (Richard Pasich) of Sedona, Ariz. and Andrea (Gerald) Garvick of New London; stepson Craig (Darla) Durant of Arizona City, Ariz.; two grandchildren, Paige and Brandon Garvick; brothers, Gordon, Thomas, Louis, James and Joseph; sisters, Theresa, Julie and Karen; and stepmother, Mae Nagel.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, JoAnne, Laurel and Jean.
