Funeral services set for Saturday for teen cousins

Funeral services for Haile Kifer, 18, and her cousin, Nicholas “Nick” Brady, 17, have been set for Saturday, Dec. 1, at Living Hope Assembly of God Church in Little Falls.

Visitation for both young people will be held from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, at Emblom Brenny Funeral Services in Little Falls, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.

Visition will continue at the church Saturday, one hour prior to the service, which begins at 10 a.m.

Haile was born Oct. 17, 1994, in Little Falls, to Jay and Jenny (Brady) Kifer. She has attended Little Falls Schools, and was currently a senior. She enjoyed wrestling from kindergarten through fifth grade and then kept stats for the wrestling team, was involved in gymnastics, diving, softball and cross country. She was a very competitive person in all her sporting events competing even when she was injured. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with her family and friends. Haile also worked part time at Falls Cinema, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Pizza Ranch and Meyers all in Little Falls.

Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Jay and Jenny Kifer of Little Falls; brother, Dillon Kifer of Little Falls; grandparents, Jerry Kifer of Little Falls, Elaine Kifer of Hughes Springs, Texas, Alfred and Barb Brady of Little Falls; great grandparents, John “Jack” and Joan Saehr of Little Falls and many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Nicholas was born March 21, 1995 in Little Falls to Jason and Kimberly (Schaeffel) Brady. He attended school in Little Falls and Pillager and was currently in his junior year. He enjoyed wrestling, taekwondo, strength and fitness training, hunting, fishing, camping, four wheeling and working on his cars and four wheelers. He also enjoyed a good laugh and his smile could light up a room. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Jason and Kimberly Brady of Randall; sister, Rachel Brady of Sobieski; grandparents, Alfred and Barb Brady of Little Falls, Steve and Bonnie Schaeffel of Little Falls; great-grandparents, John “Jack” and Joan Saehr of Little Falls; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Haile was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Enos and Lee Fry and Mike and Sylvia Brady, Earl and Edna Kifer.

Nick was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Mike and Sylvia Brady, John and Sylvia Schaeffel, John and Phyllis Brower.
