Clarence Zellner, 91

Clarence E. Zellner, a resident of Burtrum, passed away Saturday Nov. 24, 2012, at his home.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, Nov. 30,  at St. Edward’s Catholic Church in Elmdale with the Rev. John Odero officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery.

Clarence was born April 12, 1921, in Elmdale Township, Morrison County,  to the late Ben and Helen (Kalis)  Zellner. He grew up on the family farm in Elmdale Township and attended school in Upsala. Clarence lived his whole life on the family farm near Pine Lake. He raised hogs, chickens and dairy farmed until retiring in 1986. He was a lifelong member of St. Edward’s Catholic Church in Elmdale. He enjoyed cooking, keeping a clean house and taking care of the farm.

Clarence E. Zellner is survived by his brother, Gordon Zellner of Bloomington and many nieces and nephews.

Clarence was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ivan, Louis and Duane Zellner; sisters, Dorothy Zellner and Clara Jacobs.
