Steven Anthony Allord, 20, Little Falls, was charged Nov. 29, by Morrison County Attorney Brian Middendorf and his staff with fifth degree possession of drugs.
While on patrol Nov. 27, a Little Falls police officer observed a vehicle with an equipment violation. When the vehicle was stopped and the officer approached, he detected a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the car.
The driver was identified as Allord and according to the criminal complaint, a small amount of marijuana was scattered throughout the interior of the vehicle. In addition, two pills were allegedly located on the driver’s side floor boards, wrapped in cellophane.
Allord allegedly admitted the pills were his. They were later identified as acetaminophen/oxycodone, a schedule II controlled substance which cannot be possessed without a valid prescription.
If convicted, Allord faces a maximum penalty of five years imprisonment and/or a $10,000 fine.
