Marilyn Adams, 56

Marilyn J. Adams, a resident of Little Falls, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at her home.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls.

Marilyn was born May 2, 1956 in Pleasanton, Calif., the daughter of Donald and Marilyn (Eisel) Rudek. She attended school in various places due to her father’s military service and eventually moved back to Little Falls where her parents grew up. She was united in marriage to Michael Adams July 30, 1977, in Little Falls. The couple made their home in Brainerd from 1979 to 2000 when they moved to Little Falls. Marilyn enjoyed gardening, camping, fishing, taking care of her dog, Toby, and spending time with her children. Marilyn’s main job was being a home- maker and raising her family. She did also work at one of the resorts near Brainerd at the Uptown Deli in Brainerd, worked at Bob’s Cleaning Service and at Zircom in Merrifield. Her family will always remember her as a loving mother and devoted wife.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Michael of Little Falls; children, Angela (Mark) Stange of Onalaska, Wis., and Stephen (Jessica) Adams of Brainerd; mother, Marilyn Rudek-Kirschbaum of Little Falls; siblings, Dawn “Michelle” Meyer of Little Falls, Mary (Daniel) Dickmann of Freedhem, twin sister, Marla (David) Noyes of Little Falls, Mark (Kathy) Rudek of Dresser, Wis. and Marya (Randy) Albrecht of Little Falls,.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Rudek; brothers, Jon Rudek and Michael Rudek.
