Gymnastics: Little Falls’ LeBlanc sweeps four events, all-around against Rush City

Little Falls junior Rachelle LeBlanc swept all four events and the all-around in a 127-124.9 defeat against visiting Rush City/Pine City/Hinckley-Finlayson (RPHF), Friday.

LeBlanc took first on floor exercise (9.4), vault (9.15), balance beam (9.15) and bars (8.8) to outdistance the competition in the all-around with a final score of 36.5.

Senior Amanda Hanson was the next top scorer for the Flyers, finishing fifth in the all-around (30.025) with finishes of third on vault (8.4), fourth on floor (8.3), fifth on bars (7.475) and eighth on beam (5.85).

Other top performances for Little Falls were delivered by junior Taylor Axel in fourth on vault (8.35), sixth on beam (6.775) and seventh on floor (7.5); freshman Sarah Stout in sixth on floor (8.0) and seventh on bars (6.525); senior Desiree Haggerty in seventh on vault (8.1); sophomore Hailey Claseman in seventh on beam (6.625); senior Caitlean Plumski in eighth on bars (6.5); junior Stephanie Cluever in ninth on vault (8.025); and freshman Gabby Lyter in ninth on floor (6.2).

Little Falls hosts Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted, Tuesday.
