Visiting West Central Area’s defensive pressure proved too much for Swanville, Tuesday, as the Knights came away with a 76-53 win.

Senior Tiffany Barthel and sophomore Steph Koetter each scored 13 points and senior Marissa Evans contributed 10 to lead Swanville offensively.

Junior Nikki Primus (8), sophomore Danica Hanson (5) and senior Chloee Larson (4) also scored, with Koetter pulling down a team-high nine rebounds.

“I believe that we have the right personnel on this team that will continue to work hard and be better,” Swanville head coach Aaron Gapinski said. “We are only three games in and have improved in each game. I am sure this will continue and we will overcome these minor setbacks.”
