Nordic Skiing: Hauer, Little Falls girls take first at Apollo Invite

The Little Falls girls Nordic ski team had four top-10 finishers, including individual champion junior Maria Hauer, to take the top spot at Tuesday’s St. Cloud Apollo Invite.

Hauer finished first individuall in 21:00, while senior Mattia Hendrickson placed fourth (21:37), senior Chelsea Rutz took fifth (21:39) and junior Kaitlin Geisenhof earned 10th (23:00).

The Flyers boys team placed fifth overall, led by juniors Mathew Massmann (20:33) and John Gottwalt (20:44) and senior Brian McNamara (20:49).

Little Falls is scheduled to compete next at St. Cloud Cathedral, Tuesday.
