Wrestling: Holdingford sweeps through Milaca quad

The Holdingford wrestling team swept through the Milaca quad for the second year in a row, Saturday, capped by a 48-18 disposal of Class AA’s sixth-ranked Milaca-Faith Christian.

The Huskers opened the day with their second victory of Aitkin in three days, 42-21, then topped Elk River 39-25.

Senior Kyle Kolstad and juniors Kyle Gerads and Mitch Messman each went 3-0 on the day to lead Holdingford, with seniors Jason Jarnot, Bryan Scepaniak and Trevor Scott, junior Mitch Merten and sophomores Andrew Zachman, Zach Scott and Nathan Brinker all adding two wins.
