Unsubstantiated threats cause Royalton, Little Falls and Pierz Schools to lock-down
Rumors of threats caused the Pierz, Royalton and Little Falls School Districts to call for a lockdown of school buildings.
The Royalton School District Web site and automated messages to district parents, indicated Royalton Schools were in a precautionary lockdown.
The Little Falls Schools Web site indicates schools in the Little Falls District were locked down while the Little Falls and Morrison County Sheriff’s Office investigated a rumor of the threat to the district. The investigation found the rumor to be unsubstantiated and the Little Falls Schools are back on a normal schedule.
Pierz Schools have also resumed a normal schedule.
The Royalton School Web site indicates the schools will remain locked down until the end of the day.
