Thomas David Calzolari, 37, Little Falls, was charged Dec. 13, with one felony count of fifth degree possession of drugs by Morrison County Attorney Brian Middendorf and his staff.
On Dec. 11, a Little Falls police officer observed a vehicle with an equipment violation. The suspect vehicle was stopped and the office spoke with the driver.
Calzolari was in the back seat.
During the stop, the officer observed drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. Calzolari was searched and the officers found eight Vicodin pills which are schedule III controlled substances.
Calzolari acknowledged he did not have a prescription for the Vicodin.
If convicted, Calzolari faces a maximum penalty of five years imprisonment and/or a $10,000 fine.
