Joyce Kronbeck, 85

obit-Kronbeck-JJoyce Kronbeck a resident of Little Falls passed away Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at Highland Senior Living in Little Falls.

Funeral services were held  Wednesday, Jan. 2,  at the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls,  with the Rev. David Sperstad officiating. Burial took place in the Freedhem Cemetery in Freedhem.

Joyce was born Dec. 7, 1927, at home in Freedhem,  to the late Hans and Marie (Hahn) Kronbeck. She grew up in the Freedhem area and graduated from Little Falls High School with the class of 1946. After graduation Joyce relocated to Minneapolis, where she worked for 60 years. Joyce enjoyed watching television and  listening to polka music. She loved traveling, especially her many trips to Alaska. Joyce was referred to as the “Fun Aunt” by all her nieces and nephews as they were growing up. She relocated back to Little Falls two years ago and had been residing at Highland Senior Living in Little Falls. Joyce was dearly loved by her family and will be dearly missed.

Joyce is survived by brother, Ivar (Kathy) Kronbeck of Little Falls; sisters, Addie Kretzman of Brainerd,  Vera (Jim) Doroff of Cushing and Gloria Dungan of Anchorage, Alaska; sister-in-law, Dianne Kronbeck of Little Falls; and many nieces and nephews.

Joyce was preceded in death by parents, Hans and Marie Kronbeck; brothers, Russell, Alan and Wayne Kronbeck; sisters, Inez Kronbeck, Neva Abrahamson and Lola Coulter.
