Minneapolis man charged with possession of drugs
Daniel Lee Eizenhoefer, 32, Minneapolis, was charged Dec. 28, 2012, with one count of fifth degree possession of drugs by Morrison County Attorney Brian Middendorf and his staff.
On Dec. 26, 2012, a police officer, on routine patrol on Highway 10, stopped a vehicle for turning without activating a signal. The passenger in the vehicle was identified as Eizenhoefer.
The officer learned through Morrison County Dispatch that Eizenhoefer had a warrant out for his arrest from another county. He was arrested and handcuffed based on that information.
During a search of the vehicle, the officer located a digital scale with a white residue on it. The residue field-tested positive for methamphetamine.
According to the criminal complaint, Eizenhoefer admitted the scale belonged to him.
If convicted, Eizenhoefer faces a maximum penalty of five years imprisonment and/or a $10,000 fine.
