Sauk Rapids-Rice had an answer for the first three goals by the Little Falls hockey team, Tuesday, knotting the game up after each.

But after the host Storm tied the game up once again at 3-3 with 5:08 remaining, Little Falls senior Austin Bjorge responded immediately with a demoralizing goal five seconds later as the Flyers notched a 5-3 win.

Bjorge’s game-winner was his third of the night, giving him a hat trick.

Junior Mark Anez and freshman Thomas Miller also tallied goals for the Flyers, with senior Matt Stumpf recording three assists and senior Luke Majerle adding two.

Senior Michael Stumpf stopped 17 shots to earn the win in net.
