Boys Basketball: Fifth-ranked Upsala blasts another foe, dropping Onamia by 40

Upsala continued its season-long tear, Tuesday, adding host Onamia to its list of vanquished foes with a 92-52 drubbing.
Nine players scored and five reached double figures for the fast-paced Cardinals attack, with Upsala scoring 62 points in the first half alone.
Junior Christian Pekarek scored 21 points and distributed six assists, senior Matt Abeler had 18 points and junior Dylan Zimmerman netted 15 to lead the offense.
Seniors Eric Frieler (10), Avery Smieja (10) and Garrett Wolf (8), junior Nathan Ehrenberg (4), senior Andy Nelson (3) and sophomore Jeffrey Halverson (3) also scored, with Wolf passing out a team-high seven assists.
