Benjamin D. Deering, 70
Benjamin D. Deering, a resident of Cambridge, formerly of Little Falls died Jan. 13, 2013.
He was born Jan. 1, 1943, in Little Falls, to John and Pauline (Oleck) Deering. Ben grew up in Little Falls and graduated from Little Falls High School in 1961. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. On Oct. 25, 1969, he married Lois Quast. They lived in Minneapolis until 1974 when they moved to Cambridge and raised their two sons.
Ben is survived by wife Lois; sons Kyle (Sarah) of Cambridge and Kevin (Robbie) of Minneapolis; two grandchildren, Mallory and Brandon Deering; brothers Richard (Bonnie), Joe (Marilyn), and Leonard; sisters, Anna Mae Hatch and Marge Snipstad.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Raymond, Martin, Tony, John; and sister Marion Johnston.
Memorial services were held Friday, Jan. 18, at Christ The King Catholic Church, Cambridge.
