Girls Basketball: Jenks scores 27, but Becker sinks Little Falls from beyond the arc

Senior Jamie Jenks scored 27 points, but Little Falls dropped a tight 59-51 Granite Ridge Conference home game against Becker, Thursday.

Sophomore Kendra Pohlman also reached double figures with 10 points to go with seven rebounds for the Flyers.

Freshman Melanie Dorn scored six points, junior Gabby Nouis had three, juniors Brooke Finch and Jennifer Ronning had two and junior Laura Moe picked up one.

Little Falls outshot Becker 48 percent to 33 percent from the field, but a 9-3 discrepancy in three-point shots made lifted the Bulldogs to the win.
