Patrick Kegley found the back of the net in each period to tally a hat trick and goalie Allen Patten turned away all 22 shots he faced to lead the Aces past Breezy Point, Jan. 12.

Alec Brandup, Mason Wyman, Blair Seitz, Vladimir Marchenko and Jared Sprink scored goals as well, with Seitz, Andre Pison and Dylan Nelson recording two assists apiece.

Wyman scored the lone goal for the Flying Aces in a 7-1 defeat at Alexandria, Jan. 11.

The Blizzard took a 2-0 lead midway through the first before Wyman’s goal put the Aces on the board and cut the gap to one.

But Alexandria took advantage of a pair of power-play opportunities later in the period to move ahead 4-1 and didn’t look back in notching the victory.
