Girls Basketball: Rockford erases 16-point gap to defeat Pierz

Pierz started strong, at one stage building a 16-point lead, but host Rockford Area rallied all the way back to take the Central Minnesota Conference match-up 56-53, Friday.

Senior Megan Boser shot 10-of-15 from the field to finish with 23 points, with senior Mickey Rocheleau (9), junior Bridget Bednar (8), sophomore Kayla Carter (7) and junior Tiara Hopkins (6) also scoring.

Bednar added a team-high 12 rebounds and five steals and Hopkins hauled in nine rebounds.
