Gymnastics: Little Falls sweeps bars in rout over Princeton

Little Falls swept the top five places on bars as it rolled to a 129.4-106.85 Granite Ridge Conference victory at Princeton, Friday.

Junior Rachelle LeBlanc (36.925) and senior Amanda Hanson (31.95) posted a one-two finish in the all-around to lead the Flyers individually.

LeBlanc took first place in all four events, winning on floor exercise (9.4), vault (9.2), balance beam (9.175) and bars (9.15), while Hanson took second on vault (8.45) and bars (7.9), fourth on beam (7.45) and fifth on floor (8.15).

Junior Taylor Axel took third on beam (7.695) and fourth on vault (8.1) and freshman Sarah Stout placed third on floor (8.2) and fourth on bars (6.8).

Eighth-grader Shania Rossum added a fifth-place finish on bars (6.5) to complete the Flyers’ sweep of the event.
