Boys Hockey: Little Falls blanks Alexandria 6-0

Little Falls upended another Section 6A foe, Tuesday, coming away with a 6-0 shutout win at Alexandria to complete a season sweep over the Cardinals.

Senior Ben Newman gave the Flyers an early advantage, striking for a pair of goals in the opening 5:22 of the game.

Little Falls carried that 2-0 lead into the second, then erupted for four more goals to put the game away as senior Austin Bjorge scored twice while senior Taylor Drager and junior Mark Anez each added one goal.

Senior Spencer Fenske had three assists on the night, Bjorge recorded two and Anez, Newman and sophomore Connor Jorgensen picked up one apiece.

Senior Michael Stumpf stopped 25 shots in net to notch his second shutout of the season.
