Kasandra Lilah Pingeon, 30, Little Falls, was charged Jan. 17, in the Seventh Judicial District Court with one felony count of third degree sale of narcotics.
On July 11, 2011, an investigator from the Central Minnesota Drug and Gang Task Force was contacted by a confidential informant who said it was possible to purchase methamphetamine from Pingeon.
The informant was provided with buy money and was observed entering an apartment building in Little Falls, the criminal complaint said.
Later, the informant met with law enforcement after meeting with Pingeon and turned over two small baggies containing a white crystal substance which field-tested positive for methamphetamine.
According to the criminal complaint, the informant gave a taped statement saying the methamphetamine was purchased from Pingeon.
If convicted, Pingeon faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and/or a $250,000 fine.
