A white van seen Jan. 27 at the scene of a hit and run accident that injured a Little Falls man, was located and found not to be involved.

Zebulon G. Retka, 34,  was struck while he was walking east on or near the eastbound fog line on Highway 115, about 3/4 mile west of Highway 371, near the Main Gate Bar.

Retka is at home recovering.

“The white van we were looking for has been located.  It is no longer a vehicle of interest in this case,” said a release by the Minnesota State Patrol.

The State Patrol is seeking a vehicle which might be older rather than newer, with possible right front damage, possible right side mirror or windshield damage.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to contat Sgt. Doug Brown at (218) 316-3026.

The Minnesota State Patrol said the investigation is ongoing.
