Granite Ridge Boys Basketball: Little Falls maintains control of conference destiny

Little Falls roughed up Granite Ridge Conference (GRC) cellar dwellar Milaca 86-49, Tuesday, maintaining its lead atop the GRC boys basketball standings.

Senior Collin Eckman shot 6-of-9 from three-point range to net a team-high 24 points for the host Flyers, with senior Jake Scott scoring 13 points and senior Travis Spillum adding 11.

Eckman and sophomore Thomas Bell distributed five assists and senior Spencer Lubbers collected six rebounds.

Flyers hold off Princeton

Princeton’s offense quadrupled its first-half output in the final 18 minutes against the Flyers, Feb. 1.

But Little Falls managed to weather the storm, utilizing the 30-11 halftime cushion it built to pull out a 63-57 GRC road win.

Eckman netted 16 points and junior Troy Scott had 10 to lead the Flyers offensively, while junior Sebastian Sowada registered nine points and eight rebounds.
