Farm Rescue was established to help farm families in crisis. The number of families helped has increased every year in North Dakota, eastern Montana, South Dakota, Minnesota and Iowa. Pictured in Renville, Minn. in 2011, are (from left): Dale Lamphere, from N. Y. (Farm Rescue volunteer), Kurt Kramin (assisted farmer), Dave Sette, from Wis., (Farm Rescue volunteer), and Bill Gross (founder/president of Farm Rescue.) One of more than 200 farm families helped so far, Kurt received harvest assistance after he suffered severe burns.
