Gross misdemeanor

Morrison County Attorney Brian Middendorf and his staff have filed gross misdemeanor complaints against the following person:

• Benno Andrew Virnig,  45, Hillman — In connection with a Oct. 27, 2012, incident, Virnig has been charged with one count of fifth degree criminal sexual conduct – non-consensual sexual contact.

If found guilty, he faces a maximum penalty of one year in jail and/or a $3,000 fine.

The court will set his appearance date.
