Monica Stodolka, 78

obit-Stodolka,_Monica_Square_PhotoMonica T. Stodolka, a resident of Bowlus, passed away Feb. 17, 2013, at the St. Cloud Hospital.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday, Feb. 20, at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church in Bowlus.
Monica was born Oct. 7, 1934, in Upsala, to Theodore and Theresia (Gappa) Biniek. She married Kenneth Stodolka Aug. 12, 1967, at All Saints St. Hedwig’s in Holdingford. Monica was a teacher’s aide at the Holdingford Elementary School for over 20 years.
Monica is survived by her husband of 45 years, Kenneth Stodolka of Bowlus; her children, Bernadette (Mark) Zwilling of Champlin, Rose (Russell) Popp of Maple Grove, Kenny (Karri) Stodolka of St. Joseph, Nancy (Scott) Danculovich of St. Cloud, Ron Stodolka, Lincoln, Neb. and Amy (Brian) Granholm of Sturgeon Lake; her 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; her siblings, Theresa Gaub of Inver Grove, Teddy (Bernie) Biniek of Brooksville, Fla., Richard (Carol) Biniek of Shakopee, Marge Tomczik of Red Wing, Walt (Julie) Biniek of Maple Grove and Joan (Gary) Akers, Zimmerman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Theresia Biniek; and her first husband, Anthony Wentland.
