Six-month investigation leads to arrest in Pierz

Three people were arrested Friday, after a six-month investigation by the Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force, resulted in a search warrant at a Pierz residence on Third Avenue Northwest.

The investigation was initiated after nearby citizens complained of extremely high traffic at all hours of the day, in and out of the trailer. Long-term surveillance of the residence revealed that the primary occupant, 44-year-old Daniel Dickman, was believed to have sold methamphetamine from the residence.

The Morrison County Critical Incidence Response Team (CIRT) gained entry to the trailer Friday morning. Investigators located approximately 10 grams of a substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine.

In addition to Dickman, Jennifer Lyn Coleman, 38, of St. Anthony, was arrested at the scene for outstanding burglary warrants. Jessica Marie Weizenegger, 20, of Oak Grove, was also arrested at the scene for obstructing legal process.

All three were transported to the Morrison County Jail where they are currently in custody. Formal charges are anticipated against Dickman for possession of controlled substances.
