Live Better! Live Longer! inspires HCC’s call for new board members

The Healthy Communities Collaborative (HCC) of Morrison County is seeking new board members. The HCC invites team players who share a passion for healthy living, are able to actively serve a two-year board term and are willing to engage other community members to join the team.

HCC projects in Morrison County since 2006 include: Bridges program (school-based mental health services), Morrison County Families program and Families and Schools Together (FAST), Morrison County Career Exploration Fairs, county-wide youth summits, Youth As Resources (YAR), Youth Development Professionals network, Little Falls Day of Caring, Morrison County RightTrack teen driving course, the Rock ‘n Run family event and Live Better! Live Longer! (Eat, Move, Belong), including the Start Strong breastfeeding initiative.

The HCC is a community outreach program of St. Gabriel’s Hospital. HCC plans to host an information breakfast in April for those who share its passion for healthy living and may consider serving a two-year term as a board member.

Those who have an interest in learning more about the work of the HCC and the Live Better! Live Longer! project for a healthy Morrison County, are asked to contact Kate Bjorge, HCC executive director, at (320) 631-5675 or [email protected]
