Thomas A. Adams, 59

obit-Adams-TThomas A. Adams, a resident of Swanville,  passed away Feb. 20, 2013, at his home in Swanville.
Funeral services were held  Wednesday, Feb. 27, at the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls,  with Brother Robin Pierzina officiating.  Burial took place in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Little Falls.
Thomas was born June 12, 1953, in Little Falls,  to the late James and Angeline (Zilka) Adams. He graduated from Little Falls High School in 1971 and then attended Central Lakes College for landscaping. Thomas was employed at the turkey barns for several years before going to work for RR Donnelley in Long Prairie. After 14 years of employment with RR Donnelley Thomas retired in January of 2013. He had the pleasure of living in the family cabin on Pillsbury Lake for many years. Thomas loved hunting, fishing, trapping and snowmobiling. He loved his Harley Davidson motorcycle more than anything and Thomas attended many Sturgis bike rallies in South Dakota.
Thomas is survived by his brothers, Ronald Adams of Long Prairie,  John (Cheryl) Adams of Grand Rapids,  Tony (Geri) Adams of Rice and Jim (Lynn) Adams of Bertha; sister, Mary (Tim) Kummet of Little Falls; and many nieces and nephews.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Jake and Angie.
