The Friends of Crane Meadows National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) would like to thank all those that came out to enjoy our candlelight skiing/snowshoeing event, Feb. 23. A great time was enjoyed by over 200 people. A special thank you to Royalton physical education teacher Aaron Meier for arranging a bus for the fifth graders and their families to attend the event. A big thank you to the Mary of Lourdes (MOL) Home and School Association and volunteers who organized our second annual “A Toast to Winter” event for MOL school. Thanks to our many guests and generous donors who supported this benefit. A special thank you to Coborn’s Liquor who helped sponsor this event, the Threlkelds who donated the use of the Falls Ballroom and the band, Brothers Tone, for playing.
