Minnesota State Patrol asks drivers to slow down in bad weather conditions

Sgt. Curt S. Mowers said the Minnesota State Patrol is asking drivers to slow down, buckle up and driver sober, especially during the snowstorm.

“During times of bad weather and road conditions, the speed limit means that you drive to the existing conditions,” he said.

“Many drivers are driving way too fast for the conditions, and many drivers follow too close,” he said. “We all need to take personal responsibility for our own actions behind the wheel.”
