Daniel Yager, a resident of Little Falls, died Saturday, March 2, 2013, in Little Falls.
A funeral service was held Saturday, March 9 at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, with Todd County Chaplain David Griever officiating. Daniel was born May 19, 1981, in Buffalo, to Alan and Michele (Spence) Yager. Daniel grew up in Little Falls and graduated from Little Falls Community High School with the class of 2000. While in high school Daniel worked as a dish washer at Perkins in Little Falls, from 1998 until 2000. He attended Central Lakes College in Brainerd and graduated in 2001 with a diploma in welding. Daniel worked at Electrolux in St. Cloud, for over 10 years as an assembler in the freezer manufacturing department. Daniel enjoyed life. He loved camping, 4-wheeling, biking, walking and fishing. He did everything, work or play at a maximum effort and participation. He kept to himself but for those who took the time and effort to get to know him he was a joy to know and a wonderful friend. Daniel loved spending time at his grandparents’ farm and driving tractors and splitting wood. He also enjoyed playing and caring for the family pets, Goldie, Moto and Yoyo. Daniel was proud of his Toro riding lawn tractor and enjoyed doing lawn care work.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Michele (Joseph) Cameron of Little Falls,; father, Allan (significant other, Jackie) Yager of Royalton; brother, Joseph Yager of Little Falls; step-brother, William Cameron of Little Falls; and stepsister, Catherine Cameron of McHenry, Ill.; grandparents, Vernon (Mildred) Yager of Waverly and William (Joyce) Spence of Garrison; several aunts, uncles, stepuncles and stepaunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his uncle, Bradley Yager and stepgrandmother, Virginia “Ginny” Cameron.
