Plans are well under way for the fourth annual “Strut Your Stuff” benefit for the Boys and Girls Clubs, Little Falls branch. The planning committee has been working hard to make this year’s event the best yet. The event will be held at the Falls Ballroom Friday, March 15, starting at 6:30 p.m.
Eight local eateries will show off their culinary specialties. Reality Roasters will offer coffee while West Side Liquor will have wine tasting. A huge silent auction will feature something for everyone – grills, pottery, original art, sports items, golf packages, handcrafted furnitur, and much more.
The live auction will feature handmade quilts, a week’s stay at Birch Haven Resort in the Bemidji area, a five-day bus tour to “Christmas in Branson” from Laverne’s Travel and much more.
Event co-chair Becky Barton said, “We’d like to thank all of the individuals and business that have donated auction items and the restaurants that have donated their time and tasty treats for us to enjoy.”
After the meal, socializing and bidding on auction items, folks can stay and dance to the music of the band “Roosters.”
Tickets for the event are on sale at US Bank, Pine Country Bank and Mid-Minnesota Federal Credit Union in Little Falls. Tickets are also available at the door and tickets for the dance only will also be available at the door after 8:30 p.m.
Anyone wishing to reserve a table for six, eight or 10 people, can contact Barton at (320) 522-0111. All proceeds from the event will go to the Boys and Girls Clubs, Little Falls branch to fund programs for their 562 members.
