The Minnesota Flying Aces bounced back from a pair of one-goal defeats with two wins to cap a busy five-day stretch of action.
After falling 3-2 at North Iowa, March 1, and 4-3 at Granite City, March 2, the Aces bounced back to rout host Twin City Steel 6-1, March 3.
Brad Hauser tallied two goals and an assist and goaltender Matt McLaughlin made 28 saves in the win.
The Aces then returned home to avenge its loss to Granite City, knocking off the Lumberjacks 3-2 in a shootout, Tuesday.
Hauser and John May netted the regulation goals for Minnesota, with May and Jared Sprink scoring in the shootout.
McLaughlin again earned the win in net with a 33-save performance, including stopping all four Granite City shootout attempts.
