The Violence Prevention Initiative of Morrison County thanks the Little Falls, Pierz, Upsala, Royalton, and Swanville schools for allowing us to bring the presentation Remote Control to area students. Thanks to MCICC – LCC, Little Falls Lions, Sobieski Lions, Pierz Lions, Lincoln Lakes/Scandia Valley Lions, Dandee Lions and the Exchange Club, as well as the Mission and Ministry Fund from Catholic Health Initiatives, the parent organization of St. Gabriel’s Hospital, for making this event possible. —

Many thanks to the First Lutheran Church of Little Falls for the use of their wonderful facility for our used book sale. To the volunteers who spent hours sorting, preparing, and overseeing the sale, as well as the Bursey family for storing the books, thanks. Dr. Knight Elementary would like to thank the following organizations and individuals that helped make I Love to Read month a success: Walmart for donating prizes, the KEA and Patrick Michaud from Horace Mann for the bikes; Pap’s Sporting Goods for making sure all the bike winners have a helmet; and the community readers who came and read to our students.
