Claude Spiczka, 83

obit-spiczkaClaude Spiczka, a resident of Foley, died Wednesday March 6, 2013, at his home.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, March 9, at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Gilman with the Rev. Leo Moenkedick  officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
Claude Spiczka was born Dec. 20, 1929, in Alberta Township, Benton County, to Stanley and Mary (Jankow-ski) Spiczka. He lived and farmed all of his life near Gilman. He raised dairy and beef cows and worked as a custodian for the Foley School District for several years. Claude had a great sense of humor, a good work ethic and was always willing to help others.
Claude is survived by his many nieces and nephews and friends and neighbors.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers and sister, John, Henry, Raymond, Emil, Roy and Harriet Hartzmann.
