Loretta G. Lattimer, a resident of Little Falls, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Thursday, March 14, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Little Falls, with Father Nicholas Landsberger officiating. Burial was in St. Mary’s Parish Cemetery in Little Falls.
Loretta was born in Little Falls, Jan. 11, 1933, to the late Leo and Josephine (Gamroth) Marsolek. She attended and graduated from Little Falls High School in 1953. Loretta was united in marriage to Gordon Lattimer Aug. 24, 1955, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Little Falls. She worked for Larson Boats for five years and also drove school bus for 35 years, which she was very proud of. Loretta was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She loved the Minnesota Twins, collecting dolls, playing cards and bingo and especially enjoyed when company came to visit.
Loretta is survived by daughters, Jeanne (Larry) Schroeder of Illinois, Nancy (James) Klein of Little Falls, Carol Fallert of Little Falls and Mary (Steven) Fregin of Superior, Wis.; grandchildren, Natalie (Adam) Love, Amanda Klein, Jacquelyn Klein, Justin (Lindsey) Fallert, Bradley Fallert, Ryan Fallert, Tyler Wieczorek and Rachal Fregin.
She was preceded in death by husband, Gordon Lattimer; son, James Lattimer; parents, Leo and Josephine Marsolek; sisters, Theresa Gammon, Margaret Crary, Darlene White and Rita Coalwell; and infant brother, Connie Marsolek.
