Albert P. Frey Sr., a resident of Randall, passed away at his home, Sunday, March 10, 2013.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 16, at St. James Catholic Church in Randall. Burial was in St. James Cemetery.
Albert was born July 19, 1923, on the family farm in Parker Township to the late August and Katherine Frey. He was united in marriage to Eleanore Deering Sept. 25, 1945, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Little Falls. Albert farmed his entire life and worked as a bartender at the Randall Liquor Store for 21 years. He was a Parker Township Board member for 30 years, a trustee of St. James Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed gardening, playing cards, wood harvesting, polka music and meeting with the Randall Seniors group.
Albert is survived by his seven daughters, Lenore (Bob) Pallansch of Grey Eagle, Mary (Russ) Cichy of Madison, Wis., Bev (Larry) Kautz of Pine Island, Dorothy (Larry) Lampert of Pierz, Barb (Dave) Brown of Brainerd, Linda (Lynn) (Lee) VanDenBroeke of Elkhorn, Neb. and Sandy (Tim) Statema of Cushing; one son, Albert (MaryAnn) Frey Jr. of Rochester; 19 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Eleanore; parents; daughter, Patricia; two brothers; and four sisters.Brenny Funeral Chapel
