Pamela Katka, a resident of Foley, died Thursday, March 21, 2013 at the St. Cloud Hospital after a short battle with cancer.
A Memorial Mass was held Monday, March 25, at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Gilman, with the Rev. Leo Moenkedick officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
Pamela Katka was born Aug. 2, 1960, in St. Cloud, to Richard and Dorothy (Theis) Kosloski. She married Ralph Katka June 30, 1979, at St. John’s Catholic Church, Foley. She lived in the Foley area all of her life. She worked at Stearns Manufacturing for several years and co-owned and operated Katka’s Monuments with her husband for many years. Pam enjoyed gardening, vintage snowmobile runs and spending time with her friends and family and grandchildren. She was an active member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Memorials are preferred in-lieu of flowers.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph of Foley; sons; Rick (Alicia) of Becker and Tim (Lacey) of Foley; four grandchildren, Abigail, Benjamin, Mayla and Hadasah; mother, Dorothy Kosloski of St. Cloud, brothers and sister; Mike of Rice, Pat of St. Cloud, Jeff of St. Cloud, Vernon of Rice and Roxanne Kosloski of Foley.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard.
