Curtis Michael Hoheisel, 32, St. Cloud, was charged March 25, with one felony county of third degree assault in the Morrison County District Court.
On Sept. 16, 2012, the Pierz police were informed of an assault that took place the previous day. The victim had come forward and given a statement to the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office, stating Hoheisel and another man had assaulted him.
The victim said he encountered Hoheisel at a bar in Pierz. When Hoheisel began harassing him, the bartender escorted him out of the bar. Later, the victim said he went to another bar where he again met up with Hoheisel.
When the bar closed, the victim said he started walking with the two men to his car. An argument started and both men allegedly began to hit him. They got the victim to the ground and continued to beat him.
The victim said he went to the hospital the next day and learned he had a nondisplaced fracture through the right and left nasal bone.
While he has not been arrested, Hoheisel has been summoned to court.
If convicted, Hoheisel faces a maximum penalty of five years in prison and/or a $10,000 fine.
