RadioShack in Little Falls has begun unwrapping brand new GE appliances for its showroom. The inventory began arriving Wednesday, and owners, Jim and Steve Andres, are excited about the choices now available for their customers.

“We have always offered sales, delivery, set-up and service for our customers,” said Jim. “RadioShack now has one-stop shopping with another new line that includes the same great service as before.”

On Wednesday, RadioShack in Little Falls began to unload its new line of appliances made by GE. The store will offer modestly priced to high-end units for its customers, in a variety of colors. Pictured are owners Jim Andres, left, and Steve Andres with a few of their new appliances.

RadioShack, an exclusive showcase dealer for GE, offers washers and dryers, stoves and refrigerators, dish washers, freezers and microwaves in a variety of colors. The Little Falls store also has the ability to fit any budget, selling the less expensive Hotpoint models to the high-end GE Café models.

“We chose GE because it gave us the ability to be competitive,” said Steve. “The Little Falls RadioShack is also a GE authorized parts, service and delivery center.”

Steve said GE, a developer of clean technologies, has very innovative ideas built into their appliances, especially in the Café line.

“One refrigerator model dispenses four temperatures of hot water. We offer an app-controlled oven that can be regulated with a smart phone and smart-dispensing washing machines. Those machines have two reservoirs to hold 100 ounces of liquid detergent in one and 100 ounces of fabric softener in the other. It is about two months worth of cleaning product depending the frequency of doing the wash,” said Steve. “We are also introducing slate, a modern alternative to stainless.”

Jim said he was impressed with GE investing in America by building 16 factories across the country, creating more than 12,000 new jobs. He also likes it that GE has employed 11,000 veterans, has given more than $500 million to charities in the past five years and recently invested $1 billion to fight cancer.

“With our GE products, we are offering competitive pricing and will stand behind our product,” said Jim.
