Gross misdemeanor charges filed

Morrison County Attorney Brian Middendorf and his staff have filed gross misdemeanor complaints against the following people:

• Bradley James Lang, 35,  Cushing — In connection with a Nov. 12, 2012, incident, Lang has been charged with one count of DWI – operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and one count of DWI – operating a motor vehicle with an alcohol concentration of 0.08 within two hours.

• Brenda Lee Yanta, 49, Little Falls — In connection with a Dec. 15, 2012, incident, Yanta has been charged with one count of DWI – operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and one count of DWI – operating a motor vehicle with an alcohol concentration of 0.08 within two hours.

• Logan Matthew Boody, 22, Little Falls — In connection with a Dec. 20, 2012, incident, Boody has been charged with one count of DWI – operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and one count of DWI – operating a motor vehicle with an alcohol concentration of 0.08 within two hours.

• Alan Glenn Cooper, 59, Menahga — In connection with incidents between Nov. 22, 2012, and Feb. 3, 2013, Cooper has been charged with domestic abuse – violating an order for protection with 10 years of previous conviction.

If found guilty, those charged with a gross misdemeanor face a maximum penalty of one year in jail and/or a $3,000 fine.

The court will set their appearance dates.
