Spring fling planned to support chaplaincy program

A spring fling is planned to raise support for the Morrison and Todd County Chaplaincy programs, Sunday, April 28, 7 p.m. at Lake Beauty Bible Camp. The camp is just off of Highway 27 on Hummingbird Trail headed toward Long Prairie. The event will feature a bluegrass and country concert with the Mike Kingery Family. Kingery will tell his story of being a professional baseball player for 17 years. He has 10 family members that all play a different instrument.

Sheriff Michel Wetzel will give a talk about how the Chaplaincy has helped the sheriff’s department over the last 10 years.

Free ice cream sundaes will be served following the concert. A freewill offering will be accepted to benefit the chaplaincy program in Morrison and Todd counties.
