April 5 — A resident on Eighth Street Northeast reported someone entered their residence and stole $300 in change.

April 7 — A resident on Fourth Street Southeast reported a break-in.

April 8 — Someone stole the spare tire off of a vehicle parked at a residence on Fourth Street Southeast. The tire was a Goodyear brand and valued at $300.

April 10 — A resident on First Street Southeast reported a theft.

April 12 — A business on Second Avenue Northeast reported the theft of a cell phone.

April 13 — A resident on Edgewood Road reported their shed had been broken into. The door of the shed had been damaged, but it was unknown whether or not anything had been stolen.

April 15 — A business on Second Avenue Northeast reported a theft of videos.

April 15 — A resident on Seventh Street Northeast reported a service theft.

April 18 — A resident on 11th Street Northeast reported damage had been done to their property.

April 20 — Someone kicked in a door to a residence on Third Street Southwest. The back door latch was damaged and the door frame cracked.

April 21 — A business on Broadway West reported a gas drive off.

April 24 — Someone stole a silver ring with white diamonds valued at $500, while the owner was at a business on Broadway East.

April 24 — A resident reported a person had called her saying her grandson was in an accident in Santa Cruz, Trinidad. The man said he was her grandson’s attorney and that the resident should transfer $1,148 in cash to her grandson to pay a person involved in an accident that he said was caused by the resident’s grandson. The resident reported the scam and contacted the grandson who had never been to Santa Cruz.
